Within a well-established Southern California financial services firm, this position offers a chance to deepen expertise in treasury and financial analysis while supporting key liquidity, investment, and derivative operations. The role involves producing detailed financial reporting and analysis that directly informs strategic decisions and regulatory compliance. Candidates with a background in banking or credit union finance will find a hybrid work setting and a team that values precision and process improvement.Title: Treasury/Financial AnalystIndustry: Credit Union ServicesLocation: Greater Los AngelesResponsibilities:Monitor and project cash flow requirements, deposit trends, and funding needs to support liquidity management activities within established risk parameters.Assist with investment operations including bond settlements, portfolio documentation, and due diligence for broker/dealer relationships, ensuring audit readiness.Prepare and distribute internal and external financial reports, including detailed analysis for board and asset-liability committee meetings.Coordinate treasury-related data and documentation for regulatory exams, external audits, and internal reviews, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.Develop ad hoc financial and trend analyses to support management decision-making and strategic planning for deposit and loan products.Support daily derivative operations including monitoring, collateral management, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting tasks.Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance data accuracy and operational efficiency.Qualifications:Must-Have:3 to 7 years of treasury, financial analysis, or reporting experience in banking, credit union, or financial services environments.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and functions.Demonstrated ability to produce accurate, actionable financial reports and analyses under limited supervision.Experience working with liquidity management, investment reporting, and regulatory compliance documentation.Comfortable working in a hybrid schedule with initial onsite presence transitioning to a mix of office and remote days.Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.Nice-to-Have:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.Familiarity with financial modeling tools and database management systems.Relevant certifications such as CFA or CTP.Prior experience supporting derivative operations and collateral management.
