Tasks
Independent and autonomous management of financial accounting for various companies
Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IAS/IFRS guidelines and the German Commercial Code (HGB)
Serving as the central point of contact, providing technical advice and support to the companies
Further development of existing processes and procedures, e.g., SAP FI/FI-AA modules, as well as technical support and testing during release upgrades, interface integrations, or company migrations
Primary point of contact for auditors as well as the Group Accounting and Tax departments
Formal transfer of financial and tax data to recipients within and outside the Lufthansa Group
Handling additional cross-team special tasks and participating in projects, e.g., in SAP CO

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics or business informatics, or equivalent with relevant professional experience
Experience in the areas of payments, financial accounting, and bookkeeping, ideally with an IT focus
Experience in project management, specifically in agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe)
Structured approach to work
Knowledge of current IT technologies and payment trends in the payments sector
Flexibility and a willingness to innovate
Fluency in spoken and written German
Fluency in spoken and written English
