Senior Treasury AccountantLocation: Houston, TXCompensation: $110,000Houston-based investment firm is seeking a Senior Treasury Accountant to join its accounting and finance team. This role combines treasury and accounting responsibilities with a focus on cash activity, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting/audit support.ResponsibilitiesManage daily cash activity across 100+ bank accounts and multiple entities.Perform high-volume bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.Prepare cash-related journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.Assist with financial reporting and internal/external audit requests.Support SOX compliance and internal controls.Partner with accounting, finance, and other internal teams.Identify opportunities to improve treasury and reconciliation processes.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting with a 3.0+ GPA preferred.3+ years of public accounting, treasury/accounting, or combined experience.Experience with multi-entity organizations and high-volume bank transactions.Strong reconciliation, journal entry, and general ledger accounting skills.Detail-oriented, organized, collaborative, and positive.Preferred: Public accounting experience, CPA or CPA exam progress, NetSuite, and SOX experience.
