This role executes the transactional and control backbone of the treasury function, working closely with the CFO and Controller on banking, debt, and foreign exchange matters, while ensuring accurate, timely, and well-controlled cash operations across all entities.The ideal candidate for a Treasury Manager would be able to do the following:Daily Cash Operations & PositioningPrepare the daily cash position report across all bank accounts and legal entities; monitor balances, sweep activity, and funding needsProcess daily cash receipts and disbursements; initiate and execute wire transfers and ACH payments under dual-control authorization proceduresMaintain the short-term cash forecast and flag variances or funding gaps to the Corporate ControllerAdminister online banking platforms, including user access provisioning and segregation-of-duties controlsMonth-End Close SupportPartner with Accounting on month-end close activities, including interest accrual calculations, debt schedule updates, and treasury-related journal entriesMaintain supporting schedules for outstanding checks, in-transit deposits, and bank fee analysisComplete monthly, quarterly and annual customer rebate and commission calculationsAccounts Receivable Cash ApplicationOversee daily cash application, ensuring customer payments and remittances are posted accurately and timely to the appropriate accountsInvestigate and resolve unapplied cash, short pays, and payment discrepancies in coordination with the Credit & Collections teamMonitor lockbox, ACH, and credit card receipt activity; reconcile merchant services and payment processor statementsAccounts Payable OversightOversee AP payment run timing and disbursement methods (ACH, wire, check) to align with cash position and banking relationshipsEnsure payment controls, approval authority, and segregation of duties meet policy and audit requirementsMonitor AP aging, DPO, and disbursement forecasts as inputs to short-term cash forecastingEscalate and resolve banking or payment-processing issues affecting vendor disbursementsMaximize credit card payment processing earning rebates and improving working capitalDebt & Investment Administration SupportTrack draws, paydowns, and interest computations on the company’s credit facility and other debt instrumentsAssist with administration of short-term investment activity, including trade confirmations and maturity trackingTreasury Systems, Policies & ControlsMaintain and update standard operating procedures for treasury processes, including payment approval workflows and dual-control requirementsSupport internal and external audit requests related to cash, banking, and treasury controlsIdentify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities within treasury operationsReporting & Cross-Functional SupportPrepare daily and weekly cash reports for the Corporate Controller and CFOSupport the annual budgeting and cash flow forecasting process with historical cash trend analysisRespond to ad hoc requests from Accounting, FP&A, and external auditors related to cash and treasury activityQualificationsFor a candidate to be successful as an Treasury Manager they must have:RequiredBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field3–5 years of progressive experience in treasury operations, cash management, or general accountingDemonstrated experience preparing bank reconciliations and processing wire/ACH payments under dual-control proceduresProficiency with ERP and banking platforms (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar); strong Excel skillsWorking knowledge of internal controls over cash and payment processingPreferredCTP coursework or progress toward the Certified Treasury Professional designationExperience in a multi-entity or multi-bank environmentExposure to debt covenant reporting or credit facility administrationFamiliarity with treasury management systems (TMS)Additional InformationWe are looking for team-members that exemplify and live our High FIVE values:Highest Quality: Are you detailed-oriented and ensure the accuracy of your work?Win together as a Family: Do you exceed expectations by being attentive and going above and beyond?Unleash the Innovative Spirit: Are you passionate about finding solutions to streamline and enhance the way you and your peers work?Be a Helpful Voice: Are you a positive person who wants to make an impact on others?Every Individual Makes an Impact: Are you a go-getter who takes initiative and pride in your work?If you share our values, we want you to be a part of our Alto-Shaam family!
