Referment is working with an established independent treasury and risk management consultancy that advises financial sponsors and corporates across interest rates, foreign exchange, cash and banking. From its London office, the firm’s European treasury solutions team helps private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies improve efficiency, manage risk and build financial operations that support growth.The RoleReporting to the Head of Treasury Solutions for Europe, you will drive and oversee treasury engagements while playing a senior role in growing the business. You will lead the delivery of advisory engagements — data gathering, analysis and recommendations — working closely with other consultants and overseeing contract panel members and internal staff, coaching them to keep work products methodologically rigorous and clearly communicated. Alongside delivery, you will own a meaningful business development remit: generating leads through outbound outreach, shaping pitches and proposals, closing wins and building durable relationships with sponsors, portfolio companies and corporates. You will also strengthen how the team scales, improving the models, datasets and analytical frameworks behind its solutions and collaborating on workflow automation, process orchestration and decision-support analytics with third-party technology partners.What We’re Looking ForYou will bring around ten or more years of experience in corporate treasury or a related financial environment, with broad knowledge of treasury and working capital, plus a strong record of business development and reacting to client needs with practical solutions. A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as economics or finance, sharp critical thinking and clear written and verbal communication are essential, as are strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Fluency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint is expected; Visual Basic or similar is an advantage.Willingness to travel is expected.
