In each community, the company operates highly efficient thermal energy plants that distribute steam, hot water and / or chilled water to customer buildings. The Treasury Manager will be a key member of the Companys Finance team, reporting directly to the Controller/Director of Accounting. The group operates under a flat structure, and the successful candidate will have regular visibility and direct access to the Sr. VP, CFO.
Duties & Responsibilities
Overall leadership of the treasury management functions of the organization to ensure the maintenance of corporate liquidity, including meeting short and long-term funding needs;
Management of the cash flow forecasting processes for the organization;
Management all debt accounting, monthly interest expense and accruals;
Monitors and prepares loan covenant compliance;
Partners effectively with Project Management Office to ensure timely and cost-efficient funding for capital spending programs;
Partners effectively with the Controller and Directors of Accounting to provide timely, high-quality treasury reporting to enable sound decision-making.
Oversees back office support for in-house banking, netting, and pooling;
Daily management of cash and short-term debt;
Manages banking relationships;
Supervises borrowing and management of debt collateral;
Participates in the preparation of timely and complete consolidated management financial statements and analysis of significant fluctuations;
Participates in preparing and reviewing quarterly consolidated reporting packages for submission to C-Suite;
Assists with insurance coverages as needed.
Supports the development of budgets and forecasts;
Participates in special projects/ad-hoc reporting as requested.

The successful candidate will be a critical member of the team, ensuring the successful execution of Treasury functions, treasury accounting, financial reporting, and consolidation processes for the organization. The successful candidate will also be expected to support in the preparation of high-quality financial analysis which will enable sound decision-making as well as tracking and analyzing consolidated performance against financial plans.
