What you’ll be doing:
Reporting to the Manager Treasury Operations, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for supervising and reporting on daily cash activities worldwide. Facilitates the accurate and timely processing of all North American payments, i.e., payroll, accounts payable, vendor wires, etc. Sets up and maintains users on all third-party banking systems. Eliminates, simplifies, standardizes, and automates Treasury-related processes while maintaining Treasury policies and controls.
Positions current day cash. Reconciles all prior day bank cash movements and reports treasury activity to upper management.
Forecasts daily cash activity and related borrowing activity.
Records daily cash activity with current day actuals movements and related I/C activity.
Maintains users and user access entitlements on all third-party banking systems.
Maintains intercompany notes activity and accrues related interest. Prepares all related intercompany entries, as well as reviews and posts to the general ledger.
Maintains the group settlement and I/C balances via the quarterly netting process. Facilitates settlement of international nettings by working with international staff to process payments.
Skills needed to be successful in this role:
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and analytical skills. Bilingual skills preferred.
Attention to detail.
Requires the ability to communicate and present ideas effectively to the management of the organization.
Proven ability to identify business issues, propose solutions and take ownership and make decisions, including follow-through on recommended solutions.
Able to lead multiple tasks and work in a time-sensitive environment.
Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Requires the ability to handle several priorities.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or a related field.
3 + years of experience in related field.
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Experience with treasury/banking concepts
