Classification: Treasury Accountant
Our client is seeking a Director of Treasury for their growing company in Charlotte NC. The Director of Treasury will establish and maintain relationships with commercial bankers, research and analyze financing alternatives and provide recommendations, structure debt arrangements, ensure debt covenant compliance, direct investments of corporate cash, monitor operating cash requirements, communicate the companys operating and financial performance goals and strategies to external investors and creditors, and hire/train/retain competent staff.
The Director of Treasury role requires excellent communication, technology, problem-solving and analytical abilities. Candidates for this role will need at least 10 years of professional experience, and public accounting experience is a plus. A bachelors degree in accounting, finance or economics is required, and advanced credentials such as a masters degree in business administration (MBA) or a financial certification are preferred.
12+ years in Treasury with a large complex organization
CTP or CFA preferred
Multi-national company experience preferred
Strong risk management
Proven leadership and management experience
