Accounts Assistant – Cash & Treasury

Handle are currently working with a global media giant, who are looking for a Cash and Treasury Assistant for a 12-month contract. Working within the busy Cash Team, you will be responsible for managing cash flow and payments, ensuring payments are processed on time, and posting various bank statement transactions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior finance professional, to gain some excellent experience within a fantastic brand!

Key responsibilities include –

• Positing daily transactions in SAP
• Daily bank reconciliations
• Creating and uploading monthly SAP recharge journals
• Facilitating payments made through the banking platforms including manual cash payments and ensuring compliance to policy and controls
• Maintaining and clearing of bank suspense accounts
• Bank statement reviews

Candidate requirements –

• Previous experience within a cash management function is preferable
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience of accounting software e.g. SAP
• Organisation and time management skills
• Ability to plan and organise own work
