PFM Group Consulting LLC [Management and Budget Consulting (MBC)] helps state and local governments across the nation tackle some of their toughest fiscal and operational challenges. Analysts will be exposed to a demanding professional environment. They work closely with senior managers to serve client relationships. This position will involve working on consulting projects to help optimize clients banking relationships. Projects involve analyzing fee schedules of existing and proposed banking relationships, drafting Request for Proposals (RFP) for banking services, and supporting the evaluation of proposal responses on behalf of our clients. Through these engagements, PFM helps identify the banking partner that will best meet the clients operational needs.
Analysts will work and correspond with leaders in government, higher education and healthcare as well as other finance professionals. A strong quantitative and technical background is required. The individual selected for this position will have an opportunity to utilize their problem-solving skills, quantitative skills, and interpretive abilities to provide innovative solutions to PFMs clients.
Some travel to client locations around the country is required.
Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics, or a related field preferred
Strong academic background (minimum GPA 3.4)
Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to travel domestically as client needs dictate
