Associate, Cash Management (M/F)

DO Recruitment Advisors is delighted to represent an international investment company that holds investments in real estate, infrastructure and private equity in their recruitment of Associate, Cash Management.

THE JOB:

The Associate, Cash Management is responsible for ensuring smooth cash management operations within the Company. The successful candidate will collaborate with multiple other functions in the Company and at Head Office and will work under the supervision of a Senior Associate.

THE ROLE:

• Cash forecasting, cash-flow monitoring, payment instructions, cash pooling
• Input of Subscription/Redemption in Money Market Funds
• Investigate and follow up on daily queries from various teams related to cash matters.
• Day to day operations or dedicated tasks from Senior Associate
• Participate in IT projects relating to cash management activities
• Maintain and update daily reporting on Money market funds, and cash management processes.
• Execute delegated tasks. (e.g. contribute to document procedures, new products, or presentation etc.)
• Ensure that required transfer instructions are processed accurately and timeously and that all required supporting documentation, and controls are in place to support the payments being made by the Payments function
• Ensure that risk limits are adhered to, that the company has sufficient cash to meet its payment obligations and that interest expense/income is efficient and well controlled
• Support opening/closing bank accounts, including coordination of KYC with banks
• Support Finance Function in inter-company loans recording
• Ensure treasury balances are correctly reflected (TMS) & relevant reconciliations in place
• Prepare reporting package on key performance and risk
• Ensure that cash management processes comply with all relevant legal, tax and other regulatory requirements/policies
• Ensure that all internal controls are operating effectively and documented appropriately
• Follow-up and tracking of EU Money Market Fund regulation
• Contribute to report on Money Market Fund portfolios, and EU MMF market depth for the company
• Reporting on applicable KPI, investments, cash management, risk management, treasury policies/limits

THE CANDIDATE PROFILE:

• University degree preferably in business, finance or related field
• Approximately 1 to 2 years of cash management experience, preferably gained from private equity, real estate, infrastructure sectors, or trust industry
• Familiarity with bank cash management systems, IT2, KYC, will be an advantage
• International Payment knowledge required
• Completely fluent in written and spoken English
• Ability to work with a team and independently
• Responsive team player with ability to quickly prioritize among numerous pressing tasks

Our client is an international investment company with about 50 employees based in Luxembourg.
