Capital Markets Analyst (Treasury)

Koch Industries is seeking a Capital Markets Analyst (Treasury) at our corporate headquarters in Wichita, KS. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, economic thinker with an interest in capital markets who is confident when communicating with others and seeks to create value every day. This is a newly created role in our Treasury capability and is a direct report to the Assistant Treasurer. The Capital Markets Analyst will partner with Treasury, Accounting, Tax and Legal on a regular basis.

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Develop understanding of business level objectives, strategies, competitive advantages and financial metrics
• Build/maintain strong relationships with key internal constituents
• Prepare presentation materials for external counterparties
• Build/maintain various models including credit ratings, financial markets and debt profiles
• Liaise with Legal on banking KYC needs
• Research, analyze and prepare market focused reports
• Build working knowledge of credit facilities, bonds, etc.
• Participate in bank meetings
• Support letter of credit facilities activity
• Assist with other KII Treasury priorities and initiatives as needed

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in a Business related field (Finance, Accounting, IT, Economics, etc.)
• Analytical and risk-adjusted thinking; capable of evaluating financial information and challenging appropriately while also developing business insights
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Microsoft Office 365 proficiency; including Advanced PowerPoint (creating large decks, embedding/linking data and media, creating templates, audio/visual presentations) and Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, charts/graphs, heatmapping, pivots)
