HAYS are delighted to be partnering with a large Housing Organisation based in Birmingham to recruit for a number of roles within my clients growing Finance team. My clients looking to recruit a Cash Analyst into their busy Treasury team, supporting with treasury, cash and liquidity management activity for my clients organisation. This role would suit a graduate or a school leaver, with an understanding of Excel, who is looking to take their first step into finance.
This role is being offered on a permanent basis and is paying up to 22,000 per annum dependent on experience. Hybrid working is also available.
The key responsibilities of this role are:
Assist in treasury cash and liquidity management activity for the Group, ensuring delivery of the treasury strategy and compliance with the treasury policy and relevant financial procedures and regulations.
Assist in providing effective and efficient use of cash across the Group, ensuring cash is maintained to levels set out in the Treasury Management Policy.
Assist in providing accurate forecasting of the cash position for the Group.
Assisting in the preparation of materials for ratings agencies and other external stakeholders.
In order to be successful in this role you will:
Good organisational, time management & prioritisation skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Delivering high quality outputs.
Good team worker with strong interpersonal skills. Able to strengthen relationships with other teams and negotiate and influence.
Demonstrate commercial and business awareness, to initiate new ideas and implement improvements.
Understanding and exposure to Excel and experience of moderately complex spreadsheets
