Cash Management Specialist

The Cash Management Specialist is responsible for preparing, assisting, and managing cash management related items, such as daily cash balancing, various accounting schedules, and family office activities.

Day-to-Day Role:

• Perform daily cash reconciliation process, identify and accurately record a high volume of data
• Prepare or review the daily cash forecast, determine the companys cash position and cash requirements, and recommend funding transfers
• Review prior day banking activity and investigate any differences between expected cash activity and reported bank activity
• Manage, prioritize and complete projects of moderate size and scope
• Manage and respond to information requests from internal and external customers
• Execute financial transactions (wire transfers, other electronic banking transfers, etc.) as directed
• Manage opening, closing, and changes to signatories on all US bank accounts
• Prepare or review various Treasury schedules

Core Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:

• Requires one of the following:
  • Bachelors degree; an emphasis in finance or accounting is preferred, and one (1) year of accounting, banking or treasury experience, OR
  • Associates degree; an emphasis on finance or accounting is preferred, and three (3) years of banking/treasury experience, OR
  • High school diploma or equivalent and five (5) years of banking/treasury experience
    • Banking experience to include reconciling accounts, wire operations, and/or bank accounting
• Experience using Microsoft Office, including the ability to create basic reports, documents, presentations and spreadsheets in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
• Ability to identify issues, compare data, investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Excellent data entry skills
• Excellent verbal and written business communication skills with phone, email and written correspondence
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to travel up to 5% domestically
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid drivers license

Preferred Core Skills and Qualifications:

• Business cash reconciliation experience using spreadsheets
• Experience with online banking application/software

• SAP experience
