The Banking Representative will be responsible for the set-up, tracking, and maintenance of multiple companies current and projected cash position. Responsible for preparation and set up of all daily banking activities. These activities will include the following.
In addition, this position will be responsible for performing the A/P functions for multiple farming and real estate holding companies. Will also be responsible for financial reporting for the real estate holding companies.
Pull daily activity reports from the various online bank web portals
Update Cash Projection Worksheet with prior day activities and adjust projections as needed
Set up Current Day’s Banking Activities on bank web portals and list today’s activities on Cash Projection Worksheet. Verify totals and support
Prepare support for Treasury Manager to verify and approve Daily account activity on Bank Website.
Reconcile all current day loan activity.
Based upon current day ending balance status prepare a Borrowing Base Loan Worksheet noting either a RLOC loan advance or a RLOC loan paydown and send to the bank.
Watch for emails related to returned checks and forward information to AR.
Watch for emails related to positive pay or check clearing errors and respond appropriately.
Code and enter bills for multiple companies across 3 accounting software programs
Route bills to the appropriate personnel for approval
Prepare check proposals and cut checks as directed
Reconcile loan balances in Excel and email to appropriate personnel
Allocate and reconcile the interest payment per statements and email to appropriate personnel
Update changes in interest rates/unused LOC fees
Renew Libor as needed (new rate management technique coming in 2021)
Review and reconcile cash Sheet activity
Roll forward the cash and other banking related spreadsheets
Prepare bank reconciliations for companies with financial reporting responsibilities
Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for companies with financial reporting responsibilities
Generate and reconcile landlord/owner statements on behalf of property management company
Record principal payment on loan schedules
Allocate and reconcile quarterly principal payments per statements and email to appropriate personnel
Record advance for principal payments on line of credit spreadsheet
Reconcile CAM expenses and generate statements for tenants on behalf of property management company
Create tax packages including trial balances, support and depreciation schedule for outside CPA
Prepare personal property tax statements
