Responsible for managing lower tier Treasury Management client relationships. Utilizes knowledge of treasury management to provide clients with information and suggestions to add value to the relationship. Identifies opportunities to sell products and services generating additional revenues.
Main job duties include, but are not limited to the following. Order is not indicative of importance, and priorities may shift, depending on the deal or team’s needs.
Maintain existing Treasury Management client portfolio and related revenue through oversight and coordination of the overall Treasury Management relationship, serving as the ultimate owner responsible for the relationship.
Cultivates strong working relationships with client contacts. Demonstrates ability to add value with consultative approach by anticipating client needs and possible solutions, and partnering with client and internal partners to implement.
Conduct a calling program for assigned clients and document all calling activity and ensure that all planned calling activity is communicated to relevant internal partners.
Manages client profitability, understands competitive environment, develops pricing strategies, and works with team to enhance profitability.
Work with relevant partners to prepare and coordinate sales presentations and client relationship reviews.
Provide treasury consulting support as needed for unassigned clients.
Meets or exceeds assigned new revenue goal.
Conduct comprehensive treasury management relationship reviews top portfolio clients.
Manages an individual business promotion budget for calling related activities.
Keeps track of all data related to assigned client portfolio including new business pipeline, call reporting, and client profitability and ensure that entries are accurate and updated in a timely manner.
Ensures compliance with assigned client AML/KYC requirements.
At the direction of management, lead or participate as a member of project teams formed to evaluate and improve various aspects of the treasury management business. Ensure that projects you lead are driven to successful completion.
Coordinates clients new Treasury Management service requests through oversight of banking account manager and implementation activities
Participate in Treasury Management industry conferences as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2 years of related experience in Treasury Management sales.
Bachelors degree required.
Knowledge of NTs products and services and basic sales concepts (usually obtained through related work experience or formal education) is required.
Expert understanding of related computer applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, is a must.
Well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are required to interact with internal partners and prospects.
