Overview: This position contributes to the companys success by ensuring efficient cash management on a daily basis and managing and administrating the companys banking platforms and will support all aspects of treasury operations activities. This includes initiating and reviewing domestic and international wires, ensuring sufficient funds, and responding to requests for incoming funds. Reporting directly to the Corporate Treasurer of global headquarters, this is a visible and essential role within the organization.
Responsible for performing various cash, disbursement, and cash accounting activities within the treasury function. The role is primarily focused on the daily management of cash balances and transactions and includes, but is not limited to, audit inquiries, and other core treasury functions, e.g. bank administration, positive pay and ACH decisioning, reviewing wire transfers, etc. This individual may be required to provide input to or participate in various projects and will perform other duties as requested, which will include accounting functions for the Golden State Foods Foundation and maintaining the Companys Unclaimed Property and Escheatment program.
May coordinate the workload for clerical and support staff.
Bachelors degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university.
3 to 6 years of related work experience in with at least general accounting, bank reconciliations, treasury functions, and financial reporting.
Note: Experience in public accounting could be used in lieu of 1 to 2 years relevant job experience.
