About the position
This is a locally engaged staff position at an overseas Australian Diplomatic Mission.
The position works under general direction to the Minister-Counsellor in a small team that works collaboratively with colleagues in the Australian Treasury in Canberra and other branches in the Embassy. Effective internal and external stakeholder management is critical to meeting the Branchs objectives.

This position is a designated security assessed position. Applicants must be citizens of Australia, United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand or United States to be eligible for engagement. Employment in the advertised position is dependent on the employee having a valid DFAT recognised security clearance. Employment cannot be commenced until an appropriate clearance is confirmed. The inability to have a clearance recognised prevents that applicant from being employed and loss of a security clearance at any time will lead to termination of employment.
