The Global Treasury Controllership (GTC) team is part the Global Corporate Controllership Organization and is responsible for providing comprehensive Treasury support covering all Treasury transactions, including cash, debt, equity, derivative, and investments.
The GTC Middle Office team are a savvy bunch of colleagues who enjoy combining accounting and treasury transaction knowledge and expertise to provide comprehensive Middle Office support. The Middle Office literally sit in the Middle of the transaction lifecycle and is involved in virtually all facets of a transaction, including transaction advisory, Trade Capture, Confirmation, Settlements, Accounting and Reporting. The team also maintains various aspects of the Treasury Management Suite of platforms. The team is Global and comprised of individuals located in the New York, Mexico, and India. The Americas Middle Office team is primarily responsible for supporting transaction executed in the US, LAC, and Canada regions.
The Americas Director leads 12+ professionals with a remit focused on Operational advisory and excellence, Trade Support, including capture, confirmation, settlements, accounting and reporting for Capital Markets and Over-the-counter transactions, including Bonds, Commercial Paper, Retail CDs, Interest Rate Swaps, Reverse Repos, Investments and Call Money transactions. The Director interacts with a large group of stakeholders and customers in Treasury, Controllership, General Councils Office, Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax, etc. to support and provide superior customer service and Middle Office transaction level support. In addition, the Director is involved and leads many ad-hoc and Big Bet GTC projects.
