The Treasury Director is a key leadership position in Haywards Treasury department. The successful candidate will:
Ensure timely, complete, and accurate execution of all treasury deliverables – cash, debt, risk, other
Design and implement new solutions to increase treasury efficiency and effectiveness
Create, maintain, and enforce policies, procedures, controls
Create and report on KPIs
Hire, coach, and develop treasury personnel
Support the VP Treasury in capital markets initiatives and relationship management
Manage debt compliance and reporting (monthly, quarterly, annually, ad hoc) including calculation of borrowing base, available amount baskets, ratios, debt rollforward, bank audits
Manage financial risk transactions – hedging of FX, interest, commodities + support the companys insurance portfolio
Lead global cash, borrowing, investments, bank transactions, payment fraud mitigation strategies, intercompany cash and borrowing, card programs, letters of credit
Ensure adequate liquidity for working capital needs and manage liquidity requirements across entities
Manage forecasting (cash, debt, interest, FX) and variance analysis, including development and maintenance of short-term and long-term (multi-year) global cash forecast
Lead treasury-related financial modeling and sensitivity analyses, including financing and hedging scenarios, cost of capital
Manage and negotiate cash relationships with banking partners
Handle Know Your Customer requirements for banking partners; online administration of bank portals; opening, maintaining, closing bank accounts and services; FBAR; maintenance of banking and treasury records
Design and implement treasury reports and KPIs for delivery to management, auditors, and other stakeholders
Assess need for new/updated policies, procedures, controls (SOX and otherwise), technology solutions to increase treasury efficiency, scalability, automation, cost-effectiveness; write and manage RFPs where needed; lead project management to successfully implement all approved solutions
Represent Treasury in cross-functional initiatives; partner with colleagues across the organization to execute deliverables and achieve goals; provide Treasury expertise to other departments as needed
Lead the people management process: hiring, training, retention, performance management
Maintain positive working relationships with bankers, lenders, rating agencies, insurers, brokers
Ensure compliance with all accounting and regulatory guidance related to departmental operations; support audits, financial footnotes, MD&A
Support the VP Treasury in negotiation of credit facilities, treasury strategy
Education and Certifications
A Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited institution is required; an MBA is a plus.
A Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is a plus.
10+ years of progressive experience in corporate treasury at multinational organizations, including 3+ years in management.
Significant experience in debt compliance, forecasting, hedging.
Broadly conversant in international cash management and bank relationship management.
Strong Excel skills with experience in creating complex financial models.
Proficient in use of Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Some background in financial analysis is preferred.
Experience assessing and implementing technology solutions is a plus.
Exposure to Six Sigma / lean concepts is a plus.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability and willingness to present and explain complex information across multiple levels of the organization.

Ability and willingness to engage in limited (estimated 10% or less) travel domestically and internationally as needed.
