Due to business growth and expansion of the Finance department, a role has arisen for an experienced manager to take responsibility of our credit control and treasury areas. This will primarily involve setting up new processes with our banking partners and working cross-departmentally to build and run an effective credit management team. This team will be responsible for income, invoicing, debtors, statements and treasury management.
The role will support and also deputise for the Senior Finance Manager and will look to take on elements of MI reporting and wider finance work to support the department.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will possess:
Experience of credit control / accounts receivable and treasury / banking
Experience of managing and developing a team
Great MS Excel and general IT skills, experience of Xero would be a bonus
At least AAT level 4 or equivalent, or to be PQ under a recognised qualification
A desire to improve processes, drive change and possess a positive attitude
Strong communication / negotiation skills
Credit control, statements and invoicing
Work cross-departmentally to manage debtors
Income reconciliations and forecasting
Banking and treasury governance and arrangements
Seeking to improve the way we use our systems and processes
