Financial Planning/Analysis Treasury Manager

The Financial Planning and Analysis and Treasury Manager (FP&A)is a key member of the finance team and will work closely with finance, accounting, and other teams across the company to develop an accurate budget, rolling forecasts and conduct ongoing financial planning and analysis. The position may work remotely from home or onsite in HQ in Oregon and reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

FP&A Job Duties:

• Develop and implement an annual operating plan (budget) with supportable assumptions
• Prepare dynamic financial forecast models using Excel and/or other forecasting tools to accurately reflect current expectations of the business
• Prepare accurate financial statements comparing actual to budget/forecast across different segments and departments
• Seek management feedback for monthly actual to budget/forecast variances and prepare root cause analysis for senior leadership
• Develop financial presentation packages for review with senior leadership and various business partners on a periodic basis
• Develop working capital targets for business units and coordinate with various business functions on operating plans and initiatives to ensure successful achievement of targets
• Prepare sensitivity analysis for various scenarios and its impact on operating profit and working capital
• Prepare and review on an ongoing basis the profitability of the segment customers, categories and/or products.
• Review and develop the financial justification for various capital or operating investments

Treasury Manager Job Duties:

• Oversee and administer daily banking activity including wires and ACH transactions
• Monitor daily cash balances and determine cash needed to cover outgoing payments
• Weekly cash forecasts for all applicable accounts
• Work closely with accounts payable to import ACH vendor payments
• Direct communication with account receivable regarding incoming customer payments
• Prepare all documents needed to obtain financing, inclusive of obtaining all data needed from various functions to complete internal Finance documents and lender applications
• Manage the financing process from application through completion and funding
• Complete interest and debt analysis, as needed
• Work with Finance leadership team to hedge positions the company has in various foreign currencies and raw materials

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience
• Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
• Advanced skill and application knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Excel and experience managing complex datasets
• Experience forecasting and analyzing financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects and competing priorities in a demanding fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and present to all levels of the company

Preferred:

• Advanced degree or CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
• Experience in a manufacturing company environment

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

• Work involves extended periods of sitting at a computer, some repetitive motion, and lifting up to 15 pounds occasionally
• Home or normal office environment
