The Financial Planning & Analysis Department (FP&A) serves as a critical connection between NFFs finance, strategy, and resource development functions. As part of NFFs strategic commitment to racial equity, NFF is undergoing extensive analysis and planning. FP&A supports this work, ensuring decision makers have access to timely and relevant data and understand the financial and mission implications of strategic choices. FP&A also serves as NFFs financial storytellersensuring that staff, Board, investors, and other stakeholders understand the connection between NFFs mission and NFFs financial performance, position, strategy, and outlook.
Reporting to the Associate Director of FP&A, the Manager oversees NFFs Treasury and Investor Relations functions, providing recommendations and subject matter expertise to the team. These functions support FP&As charge to ensure resources are available for delivering on NFFs strategy. With these functions, the Manager promotes seamless cash flows for operations and lending, an investment philosophy that aligns with NFFs mission, and solid mission and financial performance.
NFFs strategy requires intentional prototyping and refining the way we deliver our services, which likewise requires new types of capital. The Manager will serve as a critical thought partner in exploring new types of capital to support our strategy, while managing an increasingly complex set of investor relationships and client services.
Our ideal candidate will exhibit strong functional knowledge and experience, exceptional attention to detail, an orientation towards being of service, and a passion for the work of NFF. The Manager will also supervise and enable the professional development of an Associate on the team.
This position may be based out of any of NFFs five offices (New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Oakland, Los Angeles). Remote work may also be considered. NFF will not require attendance in any office until Summer 2021 at the earliest.

The salary range for the Manager position begins at $82,000.
