Manager, Treasury Services (Treasury Management)

Position Summary:

Responsible for the delivery of a full range of automated Treasury solutions and integrated system software applications relevant to treasury services for all entities of the UMass Memorial centralized Finance Division. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance/Assistant Treasurer, this position manages a team of Senior Accountants and is responsible for supporting Treasury business interface points and proactively identifying improvement opportunities which reduce costs and improve automation for Treasury Services

Major Responsibilities:

• Responsible for development of treasury applications banking solutions including Treasury Workstations, Bank of Americas Cash Pro system, Merchant Service Platforms, GL software, EPIC etc.
• Designs, builds, tests and maintains assigned applications and interfaces.
• Educate Treasury staff and business personnel in the use of emerging bank and treasury technologies, as well as existing systems and platforms.
• Provides automation support and design for Treasurys implementation of strategic plans to improve enterprise support capabilities. Projects include process change/improvement related to collections/disbursement and implementation of new products.
• Represent UMass Memorial at various professional meetings and seminars (AFP, HFMA, NACHA, etc.) Maintain active dialog and contact with other treasury professionals and banking experts to stay current with the latest trends in bank/treasury technology.

Position Qualifications:

License/Certification/Education:

Required:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.

Preferred:

• Masters degree in Business Administration or CPA preferred.

Experience/Skills:

Required:

• 5 years of relevant Treasury application experience required, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• 1 year in supervisory capacity preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership.
• Demonstrated proficiency in financial analysis and reporting, particularly as related to corporate budgets, financial statements and cash flow forecasting and reconciliation in multi-billion dollar, multi-organization enterprise.
• Advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills.
• Ability to adapt to changes quickly and handle confidential data with care.
• Must be highly organized, results-oriented and have excellent time management skills.
