The Enterprise Credit Risk Assessment Team is looking for a Mid-Level Treasury & Risk Analyst out of Renton, Washington. This role is responsible for assessing the financial viability of existing and potential suppliers in support of all Supplier Chain (SC) organizations and performing customer credit assessments.
A successful analyst in this role will be able to effectively communicate the financial concerns which result in risk (both verbally and in writing to business partners and stakeholders). This information is then used by business partners in developing risk mitigation plans or included in the pricing model to minimize exposure to Boeing.
Work with business partners to develop future strategy for existing and potential risks and present findings to Leadership
Enhance financial statement expertise (Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Statement of Cash Flows)
Perform pre-contract assessments to determine suppliers financial ability to support work statements
Perform regular financial health checks of critical suppliers to provide early warning of financial failure
Perform customer credit limit assessments and customer credit rating assessments to determine ability or help needed to fund the purchase of Boeing products
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Bachelor’s degree or higher
1+ years experience analyzing financial statements (university coursework applies)
3+ years experience creating Financial Statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
3+ years experience analyzing financial statements
CPA (Certified Public Accountant) with Big 4 Public Accounting experience
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years’ related work experience, 10 years’ related work experience, etc.).
