Reporting to the Treasury Governance Lead, you will help establish and carry out a robust risk management and governance function across Treasury. You will work closely with the broader Treasury organization (Engineering, Legal, Tax, Accounting, and Finance teams) to support an efficient and effective risk and control environment for the Treasury function. Your key responsibilities will be to develop and facilitate an effective policy and control environment, manage the Treasury Risk Committee, monitor effectiveness of policies, oversee policy training curriculum, generate reporting packages for risk management, process performance, and compliance purposes. You will continuously seek ways to reduce both financial and operational risks and improve the efficiency of global treasury activities.
The name Google came from “googol,” a mathematical term for the number 1 followed by 100 zeros. And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.
