We are currently seeking a **Senior Analyst, Treasury – Pension & Benefit Investments** to join our team at any of our sites in **Sacramento, CA, Canoga Park, CA (Los Angeles area) or Redmond, WA (Seattle area)** .
The **Senior** **Analyst, Treasury – Pension & Benefit Investments** will support the Sr. Manager, Pension & Benefit Investments, Sr. Manager, Treasury Cash Operations in day-to-day pension and 401(k) plan investment administration. This position will maintain frequent contacts with investment managers, plan trustees and custodians, banks and the Benefits Management Committee as they relate to the administration of approximately $1B in pension plan assets with exposures across multiple asset classes and investment structures, including hedge funds and private equity. The position will also maintain frequent contacts with human resources, plan administrative staff, investment consultants and the Savings Plan Investment Committee in relation to investment options in the Company’s $1.2B 401(k) plan.

**Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)**
40% – PENSION & BENEFIT INVESTMENTS ADMINISTRATION:
+ Interacts directly with the investment managers to resolve any discrepancies in fees that are invoiced when compared to internally generated fee calculations
+ Reviews asset valuation reports and works with investment managers or the trustee to determine cause of any differences period over period or differences between the investment manager and trustee valuations
+ Assists the Sr. Manager in evaluating completeness and accuracy of asset values reported by investment managers, including private assets and hedge funds
+ Prepare and provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly pension reports to executive management and maintains and/or develops all related Excel workbooks
+ Assists with preparation of presentations to management, the Benefits Management Committee and other internal and external groups
+ Assist the Sr. Manager as needed in responding to pension & 401k audit requirements/requests
+ Ensures adherence with SOX and audit requirements and assists in maintaining SOX controls related to pension plan investment administration
+ Coordinates information provisioning by Investment Consultant and Trustee and assists Sr. Manager in responding to Benefits Management Committee questions or requests for information
+ Assists Treasury management in special pension related studies or projects
20% – TRUSTEE RELATIONSHIP:
+ Day-to-day interaction with the Trustee to ensure the timeliness of meeting reporting deadlines as well as the accuracy and integrity of the information
+ Verifies accuracy of all reports provided by Trustee by comparing to internally kept reports (e.g. expenses and fees, manager summary of assets, etc.) and ensures that Trustee makes timely and accurate payments to investment managers for fees and expenses
+ Prepares all Trustee letters of direction
40% – 401(k) PLAN/BENEFITS RESTORATION PLAN INVESTMENT ADMINISTRATION
+ Maintain monthly hedge reporting associated with investments available in the Company’s non-qualified benefit plans
+ Prepare quarterly reporting for the Savings Plan Investment Committee and the Board
+ Coordinate with management and the investment consultant on special projects related to investment options & plan designs in the 401(k)
Requires a Bachelors’ degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration and 5 to 10 years of pension & 401K plan administration management, audit, and accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:
+ Prior work experience in Corporate Treasury, Investment Consultancy, Investment or Audit Firms highly desired
+ Must be detail oriented and have strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and in particular Excel
+ Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting daily deadlines and be comfortable working with senior management, external investment managers, consultants and members of the Benefits Management Committee
+ Familiarity with custody banking applications a plus
+ CPA or CFA a plus
