Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as required, and other customary conditions and approvals. It is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, this position may be conveyed with New Consumer Health. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to the successful candidate by New Consumer Health at an appropriate time and would be subject to any necessary consultation processes.
The Senior Director Treasury Operations is responsible for leading a best-in-class Treasury Operations team to ensure the flawless execution and continuous improvement of Treasury operations including netting; management of the in-house bank and intercompany funding arrangements; delivery and support for the global Treasury organization regarding Internal Controls and Compliance. Furthermore, the function oversees the global treasury organization regarding banking and cash management set up and infrastructure.
Global responsibilities include:
Manage inter-company funding activities and netting
Run the various in-house bank account structures for affiliates in support of the global cash management functions
Design and operate internal controls, segregation of duties and system access
Run the back-office function
Support Treasury Services organization on Sarbanes-Oxley regulation
Liaison with internal and external auditors for all Treasury centers
Ensure compliance with Dodd Frank, EMIR, and other regulatory requirements
Management of the Belgium Treasury Operations team with responsibility over the global payment factory and related activities.
North America related responsibilities include:
Pro-active partnering with the affiliates on business related projects and regular operations to facilitate and support value creation.
Governance of Treasury policies and monitoring compliance with Treasury policies across the region, suggesting remediation activities where required, and proving alternatives and restricted practices in line with Worldwide Procedures.
Oversight the management of daily cash flows and short-term forecasts.
The Senior Director Treasury Operations will report to the Vice President Treasury Services. The position will have significant interactions with both internal and external counterparties:
Internal: Tax, Consolidations, Legal, Finance, HR, IT, affiliate Finance functions cross sector, Finance Directors & Regional CFOs, global & regional Treasury groups; Business Unit / Global / other Corporate Services functions; regional and global project teams and process owners.
External: Global banking partners, professional accounting and taxation firms, and consultants.

Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or economics
Excellent knowledge of global cash management concepts (incl. payment factory activities) and related accounting, finance, and tax aspects
Strong financial acumen
Good people management skills
Ability to adapt and lead in a changing environment
Analytical and problem-solving skills (must be able to reason through complex and various business and legal scenarios and structures and provide meaningful feedback for decision making)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (including ability to interact with all levels of management within and outside of finance)
Fluent in English as a minimum
Minimum of 15 years of experience
Finance/Accountancy qualification (Masters, CFA, CMA, CPA or similar)
Experience with Excel, Bloomberg, Reuters, SAP
Strong knowledge of banking relationships, guarantees and letters of credit
Experience in Treasury Management Systems
Preferably managing a global Treasury team
