The Senior Treasury Analyst reports to the Senior Treasury Manager and assists in strategic implementation of the Companys global capital markets activities. This role is key in supporting Equinixs global growth strategy, pursued through organic initiatives as well as joint ventures and acquisitions. It involves supporting the ongoing management of Equinixs capital structure, as well as providing critical analysis and recommendations to support the efficient execution of financing initiatives. This is a highly visible position. The Senior Treasury Analyst should be able to develop, deliver and defend detailed analysis to management, including the CFO and other senior executives. This position demands a strong team mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally. It requires partnering with other teams within the global Treasury organization, as well as the corporate development, FP&A, investor relations, tax and accounting organizations.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Bring new and novel ideas and creativity to the organization
• Bring initiative to bear in making current processes more efficient and automated
• Assist in updating and maintaining cash flow forecasts and conduct scenario analysis of various capital structure alternatives
• Oversee forecasts of interest expense and conduct sensitivity analysis around benchmark rates and borrowing costs
• Play an active role and act as a project manager in the execution of equity and debt transactions
• Lead the preparation of financing presentations and dashboards for the Board of Directors, CFO, Treasurer and other internal stakeholders
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly compliance certificates for our debt, closely track leverage metrics, manage loan rollover notices, and ensure timely debt service
• Support decision making by tracking bank fees and providing recommendations for allocating banking business
• Analyze and estimate incremental borrowing rates and WACC in various currencies which are used to value assets and liabilities of the company
• Prepare Treasury related disclosures for our 10-Q/10-K, ensure effectiveness of SOX controls and maintain compliance with internal policies and federal rules and regulations
• Perform other ad-hoc analysis for senior management

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting preferred
• Basic understanding of international corporate finance
• Innate curiosity and a diverse set of interests
• Strong Excel skills with ability to model financial transactions
• Strong PowerPoint skills with experience developing engaging and informative presentations
• Experience with Oracle Hyperion and/or Bloomberg a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• 2+ years of experience in corporate treasury, corporate finance or banking preferred
