Reporting directly to the Treasury leadership team but working independently, the Senior Treasury Analyst will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of variance analysis and maintenance of the Corporate short-term cash/liquidity forecast. In addition, they will provide analytic support for the Treasury group leadership team, as well as ad-hoc project support, and ongoing department analytics and reporting.
This person will be responsible for the 3rd party treasury systems daily support and maintenance and also serve as a backup for other treasury operations when required.
This role requires the incumbent to maintain knowledge of Corporate departmental, commercial banking policies, completing audit requests, and ensuring compliance with all.
Preparation, maintenance, reporting and presentation of the Corporate cash forecast. Identifying trends, investigating variances as well as timely and precise communication to Senior Finance leadership team, VP Strategy, Assistant Treasurer, VP Financial Planning & VP Tax.
Routine (daily) interaction with Senior Finance, Tax, Accounting and Operations leadership teams.
Leading all treasury group analysis and reporting for all new and existing projects and ongoing reporting requirements.
Responsible for group treasury system administration, maintenance and reporting.
Working closely with Accounting to ensure accurate and timely reporting of cash operations, fees and variances are recorded properly via group treasury.
Managing and complying with all month end closing processes and procedures as it relates to debt and investment accruals and month end variance analysis.
Assisting with debt compliance reporting process and tracking.
Liaising with internal and external auditors.
Identifying improvement opportunities, generating ideas and implementing solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or General Business. MBA and/or CTP certification a plus.
You will have a minimum of 4 to 7 years of hands-on treasury operations experience, accompanied by previous treasury management system(s) experience and hands-on experience with major online banking platforms.
Supervisory experience would be a plus as is cash management, banking and analysis experience within a multi-national Fortune 500 company with retail and multi-unit operations.
