My client is one of the country’s biggest Housing Associations; a 250 million social enterprise, managing over 45,000 homes spread across Central and South England
This role is key in the delivery of the Treasury service within the organisation; leading treasury operations to manage the existing 2billion loan book and leading on the delivery of over 750million of new funding to meet the challenges of decarbonisation and delivering over 11,000 new homes by 2029.
Drive forward our Sustainability agenda, managing our Sustainable Finance Framework, publishing our annual Impact Reports, and supporting the performance of our Sustainability Linked Loans.
Lead on strategic projects ranging from the appraisal of new acquisitions to funding new joint venture activity.
Lead all day-to-day treasury operations including compliance with Treasury Management Policies, managing cash and liquidity, and executing our Treasury Strategy.
Manage senior stakeholders across our funder and investor base to ensure the seamless execution of our existing loan book and the execution of new funding.
Negotiate with funders, co-ordinate legal and treasury advisers to execute any required changes to our funding terms, including covenants, SLL targets, securitisation and changes to our corporate structure.
Lead day to day contact for our external auditors, and own all deliverables in relation to the annual audit and act as the day to day contact for the credit rating agencies (Moody’s and S&P), and deliver the annual management presentations with the CFO and Director of Treasury
Act as the subject matter expert on credit rating methodology, including the delivery of shadow credit rating analysis to drive corporate strategy and our 30-year business plan.
Lead on all technical accounting matters relating to Treasury, and liaise with the Senior Financial Reporting Manager and Head of Governance to ensure alignment across Finance, Treasury and Governance.
Develop written papers and present analysis to drive decision making on key Treasury items for the Executive, Treasury Committee and Board.
Line manage a Senior Treasury Analyst.
