Must have skills in records maintenance, and report preparation. Work requires knowledge of modern office procedures, municipal accounting practices, Work is performed in accordance with local ordinances, and state laws. Maintains records of accounting receipts and expenditures. Maintains accounts receivable ledgers; posting charges, payments and adjustments. Reconciles bank accounts to various general ledger cash control accounts. Preparation of monthly and annual reports for municipal officials and taxpayers. Manages and completes all required audits.Duties may be completed as a combination of remote and on-site time as approved by the Board of Selectmen.Preference given to those with prior experience in a municipal office and experience with TRIO software.
