Treasury Accountant

About The Role

Arbor Homes, the largest homebuilder in Indiana and a Berkshire Hathaway Company, is currently looking to hire a Treasury Accountant. The right candidate’s primary responsibility will be to manage treasury accounting functions for Arbor Homes and its entities. Accounting experience required; New home construction experience is a plus!

What Will You Be Doing?

• Coordinate lot purchases and land purchases
• Schedule, initiate and follow wire docs for lot and land purchases through completion
• Maintain compliance for lot takedown agreements
• Maintain compliance for land takedown agreements
• Maintain lot & land units rollforward
• Assist in forecasting land and lot purchases
• Maintain land development projects and sections in Land Development Software
• Maintain Community and Lot data in Homebuilding software
• Schedule, compile and execute necessary documents for critical funding requests. Follow-through is essential
• Monitor cash balances
• Maintain cash requirements and wire schedule for all entities
• Journalize lot and land purchases
• Assist in month end close work
• Assist with integration of newly acquired entities
• Journalize wire transactions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,000.00 – $52,000.00 per year
