Profile
The Role:A qualified chartered accountant (ACA or equivalent) with good technical experience and post-qualification experience
Good understanding of treasury and treasury process
Familiarity with preparation of loan schedules, covenants and project finance contract compliance
Cash flow forecasting experience or exposure and cash pooling/payments on behalf of (POBO) structures
Knowledge of interest rate and FX risk management strategies
Reporting to the Group Treasurer, the Treasury Accountant will be part of the Global Finance Team and will have a hands-on role in the Group Treasury function. Key aspects to the role will involve loan compliance monitoring for the Groups ~4bn project finance debt; and supporting the implementation and operations of a new global Treasury Management System (Kyriba). In monitoring and supporting the group loan compliance, the Treasury Accountant will be involved in developing a strong culture of loan compliance best practice globally, maintaining the current group loan compliance monitoring tools and continuing to improve and evolve them as the Group grows. In helping to integrate the Treasury Management System, you will be working on loan compliance covenant forecast; cash flow forecasting for all functions and end to end payments integration with ERP systems / intercompany funding line integration.
The Treasury Accountant will also be involved in reporting activities to investors of group bank accounts, debt and swaps; in the preparation and execution of payment runs; maintenance and development of corporate banking relationships and payment platforms of cash flow forecasting and hedging activities.
