Treasury Analyst – Cordova, TN

Full-Time / Exempt

Treasury Analyst is responsible for maintaining various cash management schedules and the reconciliation of various bank accounts. Perform oversight of the research and reconciliation of various other bank accounts maintained by remote accounting offices. Prepare monthly journal entries for cash and debt activity, including intercompany cash. Maintain certain required cash management functions and provide information critical to optimizing the company’s cash position.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct a complete reconciliation of all general ledger entries and bank activity for a given list of bank accounts, including intercompany cash accounts.
• Conduct treasury department month end journal entries, and work with accounting to ensure all adjusting entries are booked timely to ensure reconciliations are kept current.
• Update Daily Cash worksheet to reflect prior day bank activity including store deposits, record related journal entries.
• Update Daily Receipts worksheet to reflect prior and current day bank activity; serve as back up to Treasury Analyst I for drafting and publishing daily/weekly cash and debt position reports.
• Publish monthly reporting of store checks, virtual credit card payments, and purchasing card activity.
• Manage on-boarding of vendors to the virtual credit card program; serve as liaison between Treasury, vendors, and Accounts Payable as payment questions or issues arise.
• Retrieve and save electronic bank statements, both daily and at month-end.
• Maintain master treasury list of all bank accounts throughout the organization – minimize banking relationships by centralizing local depository accounts.
• Publish various weekly and monthly reports of each store’s cash activity for distribution to Regional management.
• Receive store requests for banking supplies and coordinate supply orders with relevant bank(s)
• Assist with various ad hoc projects as appropriate to help improve cash receipt, reconciliation and credit card processes.
• Act as Treasury Liaison with TruckPro companies and stores worldwide.
• Be familiar with terms of Credit Agreements as they relate to debt principle and interest payments as well as Deposit Account Control Agreements.
• Foreign currency transaction and hedging experience is a plus.
• Responsible for other tasks as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum B.S. or B.A. degree in Accounting or Finance with 3 years cash management or related accounting experience.
• Degree not required with 10 years or more cash management or related accounting experience.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Strong working knowledge of advanced Microsoft Excel and Word is required
• Great Plains or similar accounting software experience is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service
