Finance professionals play a critical role in supporting the demands of multiple constituents, including AIG executives, regulators, and stakeholders, while staying at the forefront of accounting and reporting requirements and compliance strategies. The Finance team includes Treasury and Capital Markets; Actuarial and Value Management; Finance Operations; and the Enterprise Finance Transformation program.
As a Treasury Analyst you will provide service to the Fusion/Credit Risk Department/Underwriters regarding the review, analysis, decrease, cancellation, and expiration of all non-statutory security. Process drawdowns to send to Financial Institutions for letters of credit and trusts which are due to expire or have been targeted by various business units as in defer of payment for monies due AIG. Assist in on boarding the new trusts by getting trusts established with bank admin to activate the swift message. Aid in providing back-up for all auditors requests for non-statutory securities throughout the year. Assist in offboarding of trusts that have been terminated and deactivate the swift message. Update excel spreadsheets for the mails received from the mailroom daily, update spreadsheet for cancellation Letters of Credit that the banks are requesting the original and we have no access to the original documents
