Assist the Scheme Finance Treasury Manager in providing the Scheme Finance Treasury Service provided to clients and the Scheme Finance Team.

Job Description:

Key responsibilities

• As directed by the Scheme Finance Treasury Manager the processing of accounting and treasury transactions to update the accounting and treasury records for client accounts
• Provide scheme finance and accounting reports as requested by Scheme Finance Treasury Manager and Scheme Accountants
• Adhere to the ISO and Investors in People standards, Quality Management System and comply with pensions and FCA regulations and initiatives, for example, Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)

Key tasks

• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and assist in monitoring overdue contributions
• Checking and processing of CHAPS,BACS and cheque payments
• Recording and processing of bank receipts and payments
• Raise payment documentation for authorisation
• Liaising with banks to deal with any queries raised
• Set up new bank accounts, including updates to internal systems and set up of BACS facilities
• Manage the account closing process, ensuring all systems and records are updated.
• Prepare client Treasury Reports and reconciliations as required
• Process complaints at the earliest opportunity with a positive attitude, addressing the true root cause and implementing effective corrective action in order to prevent re-occurrence
