About The RoleWe have an excellent opportunity for a Treasury Assistant to join the fast-paced treasury team team andl contribute to the company’s financial performance through timely processing of branch banking, payments and account reconciliations on a temporary basis.Main Duties IncludeReconcile daily branch banking to till control reports for a large number of branches across the Group in a timely and efficient manner, working with Aurum (bank reconciliation software) and standard Excel Reports.Identifying and dealing with any banking discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner, with branch management team.Support the monitoring of the Cash Posting Log, posting nominal ledger transactions and liaison with Sales & Purchase Ledger colleagues to ensure daily posting of transactions to accounting system (MAM).Prepare the monthly bank reconciliation of multiple company bank accounts and support the Group Bank Reconciliation process for the whole Group as required. Working with and supporting branch colleagues to ensure compliance with Treasury procedure and policy.
