Position Summary
Partner with Treasury Analyst and Corporate Finance team to manage the efficient & compliant utilization of cash and financial services in a manner consistent with the objectives of the Company.
Job Description
Monitor daily cash position and check maintenance
Assist Treasury Analyst with month-end cash reconciliation and investigate discrepancies
Assist with administration of banking platforms
Support overheads reporting for the Americas Region
Assist Treasury Analyst and Accounts Payable team with biweekly payment run
Assist with customer and vendor set ups
Prepare credit card posting journal entries, interest journal entries and ad hoc reclassifications
Assist Treasury Analyst with Concur expense/invoice system maintenance and act as the point of contact for employee inquiries
Assist with the testing and implementation of a new invoice management software for the organization
Support routine internal and external audit requests
Produce ad-hoc Excel based analysis where necessary
Ensure compliance with internal Treasury controls, policies, and procedures for the Americas Region
Recommend, implement, and maintain process improvements that drive the effectiveness and efficiency of the AR, AP, Cash and Banking function.
Skills and Experience
College degree in Finance or related field
Professional experience in accounting or treasury function focusing on key elements of working capital (Accounts Receivable, Cash, Accounts Payable and Banking).
Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of organization and attention to detail.
Professional presence with strong verbal, interpersonal and communication skills. This individual must be confident dealing with staff across the business.
Knowledge of US banking systems and general understanding of tax regulations.
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills required.
Proficiency in excel and other database technologies required.
Strong preference for experience with SAP or other large ERP systems.
Strong preference for Wine & Spirits or related industry.
Ability to legally work in the US.
Infrequent travel may be required.
Must be 21 years of age.
