Company Overview:
PetIQ is seeking an experienced treasury professional who is excited to build the Corporate Treasury function for a fast-growing, animal-health oriented business. As a Treasury Manager, you will identify, assess, monitor, and report on the companys complete list of corporate treasury matters. You will manage day-to-day treasury operations, including cash management and compliance with internal treasury policies and agreements.
Primary functions and responsibilities:
Overall, supports treasury and cash management operations, helping develop strategies to maximize efficiencies, safeguard
assets and minimize costs.
Leads cash forecasting efforts by determining the daily cash position, analyzing trends in forecasts, adjusting forecasts over time, monitoring variances and explaining changes.
Administers various credit agreements, including compliance calculations, borrowing base certificates, processing payments and
setting LIBOR / SOFR contracts.
Ensures compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures in day-to-day conduct and supervision of cash management activities. Ensures adherence to SOX controls, including record keeping and data testing as requested.
Assists in managing and maintaining companys banking infrastructure, including bank and brokerage relationships. Oversees Companys store depository process.
Identifies cost-saving and profit maximizing opportunities related to treasury, specifically those related to bank fees and interest costs.
Works with AP and Payroll functions to streamline processes and resolve payment issues. Assist with system implementation and integration projects to improve automation.
Provides financial analysis to executive and senior management. Creates models involving cash flow, balance sheet, and income statement projections.
Assists in preparing and managing annual budgets and forecasts. Assists with M&A activity for Treasury.
Supervises Treasury Analyst and mentors and supports other Treasury team members.
Implements a goal-oriented approach that clearly outlines expectations and deliverables consistent with Company objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
5-10 years of relevant treasury or corporate finance experience with emphasis in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, M&A activity.
3-5 years of supervisory experience
Proficient MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Proficient with appropriate accounting and financial software (ERP) packages
Competent in Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Education Requirements
Bachelors degree in finance or accounting required
MBA preferred
Preferred Qualifications
CTP or FP&A certification preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
