Role Main Purpose:
The Treasury Markets & Funding Associates primary responsibility is to support the Treasury Markets & Funding team in the operational management of the secured funding vehicles. The Treasury Markets & Funding team is responsible for the companys funding, liquidity, and interest rate risk management.
Major Activities (Treasury)
Primary focus on the ongoing warehouse facility management including
o Funding drawdown and SPV reporting
o Interest Payment determination and review
o Modelling updates with regards to ongoing deal maintenance
o Reviewing and distributing Servicer Reports, Portfolio Test Reports and additional data required by the SPV Cash Administrators to perform their role
Ongoing RMBS issuance management including the tasks as above for Securitisation transactions.
Aiding the Finance and Treasury Operations functions in updating daily and monthly positions in relation to the Warehouse and Securitisation SPVs.
Assisting with the funding pool loan allocation process and internal MI to monitor SPV portfolio concentrations.
Aid the Treasury Markets & Funding team with the short-term liquidity and equity forecasting process.
Proactively manage stakeholders, ensuring that key interlinking processes with other business areas are carried out.
Assist the Treasury Operations team with cash administration tasks.
Key Areas of Accountability:
Ensure that the Board Risk Appetite Statements are met, for liquidity, interest rate risk and any other Treasury related statement
Ensure Belmont Greens daily funding requirements are met, and Treasury activities are performed in accordance with the duties of warehouse funding transaction documentation.
Ensure that Bank Treasury policies and procedures are adhered to governance controls are followed.
Knowledge & Experience:
Experience of structured fund and treasury management within a specialist lending environment.
Experience in managing internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent communicator and team player with a highly organised approach to Treasury management.
Excellent numerical, analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Advanced excel skills with ability to develop, review and enhance models.
Communicates in a constructive, friendly, and positive manner that demonstrates respect
Identifies methods and implements robust strategies which serve to continuously improve processes and controls in Treasury.
