Treasury Operations and Process Improvement

Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a treasury operations analyst for a 5 month contract based in the Manchester office 2 days per week the rest at home.

Purpose of the Role: Youll provide treasury operations subject matter expertise in a variety of capacities. Youll analyse, assess, and deliver projects and change initiatives or regulatory changes affecting systems, processes, customer experience and proposition.

Your role will also involve:

• Recommending improvements to efficiency, accuracy, risk, and automation
• Gathering and documenting business requirements and syndicate with users for approval and sign-off
• Developing and executing test plans in conjunction with change and technology teams and raising and tracking issues through to resolution
• Building relationships with key stakeholders to deliver successful system solutions
• Providing valuable input to the business on new products and new business initiatives which impact the end-to-end operational processes

Key experience required:

A good understanding of treasury operation processes, including experience in fields such as Fixed Income Settlement, OTC settlements, and confirmations.

Youll also need:

• To be comfortable presenting data to stakeholders at all levels
• An understanding of the key risks and controls associated with a front to back trade flow

This client will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.
