Treasury Operations Manager Insurance
Global Insurance Business are now recruiting for an experience treasury operations professional
The successful incumbent will lead the support and development of all systems used in treasury area, as well as ensuring an effective and efficient financial administration, internal controls and financial regulatory compliance within the company guidelines.
Managing a treasury team you will
Administer the access and authority limits of treasury systems in line with company guidelines. Manage the daily liquidity cash position with the aim to minimise the overnight cash balance.
Ensure the pricing activities of UK unit linked funds are in line with the internal audit guide lines.
Ensure appropriate systems of financial and internal control are in place within the Treasury Department.
Support the accounting systems activities as they relate to treasury operations and provide ongoing monitoring of all treasury posting.
Ensure that all Treasury systems are updated in a timely manner. Develop and support existing treasury systems.
Provide information, advice and guidance on all treasury matters. In relation to the UK business unit linked funds:
Ensure the daily pricing activities are completed. Maintain investment records and reports. Prepare annual accounts. Ensure the operations of the funds are compliance with the ABI guidelines.
Ensure that the cash management activities are in line with the company policy and that the investment return from liquid assets is regularly monitored against appropriate benchmarks. Manage the liquidity position with the aim to minimise the overnight cash balance.
Develop Treasury systems in response to specific challenges. Staff Management and Development.
The Successful candidate must have current insurance industry exposure, ideally with good knowledge of SAP
