About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Treasury Operations Specialist, who will support and deliver operational tasks and assist with the day to day running of ClearBanks FX settlement, Treasury Operations, and related activities to ensure our customers receive exceptional service. In this Operations based role, you will interact with cross-functional teams across the business and third parties to deliver and perform daily tasks. You will act as a valued member of Treasury Operations, and use your knowledge to help educate other team members, and help to build out this newly created function. This is a multi-faceted role, with the potential to gain unique and unrivalled experience and focused career progression.

Responsibilities will include:

• Enable a culture of continuous improvement of our processes and workflows by being proactive and innovative
• Support Team Leaders where necessary, working closely with them to achieve and deliver results
• Provide support for others working in the team
• Build and maintain relationships with colleagues and, where necessary, customers ensuring the service provided is of a high standard
• Produce reports and management information where necessary

Special Requirements – The Treasury Operations team will be focused on working from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, although there may be some requirement for support outside these hours as required.

About You

Ideally, you will be currently working in a Treasury Operations or FX Back Office role focused on funding, FX settlement, FX netting, and related investigations. Candidates should be competent in the following:

• Experience of FX and some knowledge of international/cross border payments
• Good knowledge and experience of SWIFT MT messaging, and equivalent ISO 20022 standards
• Knowledge of API message flows would be of benefit
• Experienced at investigating and resolving reconciliation differences
• Good understanding of resolving FX post trade queries, including interest claims and back-valuation adjustments
• Work with Treasury to agree liquidity positions and when funding is required for the various currency accounts
• Knowledge of direct interaction with trading counterparts with regard to forecasting, agreeing, netting and settling the proceeds of FX trades
• Ability to reconcile charges with Nostro correspondent banking partners, and ensure all differences are addressed and resolved
• Knowledge of Repo and reverse-Repo post trade activities would be beneficial
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical, organisational, and interpersonal skills
• Strong work ethic and team player mentality
• Ability to prioritise and work on multiple items concurrently
• Ideally, fluent in another language – Preferably Dutch, French, Spanish or Italian
