The Treasury Group Pensions team helps to manage the cost to bp of settling pension liabilities. This involves identifying, monitoring and managing (directly or indirectly) the risk exposures inherent in defined benefit pension plan assets and obligations. The team aims to achieve global conformity and simplification/standardisation by applying common principles to all of the major pension plans across bp, subject to local regulatory and governance requirements.
