The Treasury Senior Accountant provides highly specialized finance/accounting-related services to the WO Treasury department.
As a member of the WO Treasury Department, the Treasury Senior Accountant will generally support treasury and accounting functions by performing tasks associated with the Corporate Card program, Accounts Payable, and Accounting teams. The Treasury Senior Accountant will assist in the continuous implementation of the global corporate card program, process accounts payable transactions, approve journal entries, and be responsible for other treasury functions. The Treasury Senior Accountant provides customer service support, processes a variety of production requests, and resolves moderately complex issues within established departmental standards.
The Treasury Senior Accountant actively uses the organizations financial systems and Excel in their daily work and must be technologically savvy and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The individual will work as part of a team and will regularly interact with staff across the Conservancy to obtain information, troubleshoot errors, explain procedures, and work with external vendors as necessary. The position requires a reliable individual with superb organizational and time-management skills, superior customer service skills, a flexible, team- oriented attitude, and the willingness and capacity to become (and remain) familiar with business rules and processes in the areas they support.
