Summary
The Treasury Specialist I supports HLBMA’s treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity monitoring, and financial reporting. This role assists in managing the company’s cash flow and banking relationships and helps ensure the availability of funds for daily operations. During the company’s month-end closing period, this role may be required to support additional tasks beyond its primary function within the Finance division. Under the direction of the Business Management team, this role performs its work using SAP, internally developed systems, and banking portals.
Responsibilities
Assist in cash flow forecasting and liquidity management
Monitor daily cash balances and report on cash positions
Support treasury operations, including cash transfers and bank reconciliations
Assist with managing short-term investments and borrowing activities
Assist in managing bank relationships and communications
Help maintain accurate records of financial transactions related to treasury functions
Support month-end close activities related to treasury and cash management
Prepare reports and analysis related to cash flow, investments, and financing activities
Assist in the preparation of treasury-related reports for management and auditors
Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations
Conduct internal data collection, scheduling, and organization to support the contracting and renewal of company insurance policies
Maintain confidentiality of financial, banking, and company information at all times
Maintain regular and reliable on-site attendance
Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain; Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container)
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
Experience
2+ years of experience in treasury, finance, or accounting required
Experience with cash management, bank reconciliations, or month-end close activities preferred
Experience in a corporate, manufacturing, or multinational business environment preferred
Sponsorship

Skills
Strong understanding of basic financial principles and cash management
Familiarity with accounting software (SAP preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, reporting, and analysis
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping
Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet time-sensitive reporting deadlines
Physical Requirements
Sit and work at a computer for prolonged periods
Maintain concentration while performing detailed, repetitive computer-based and data-entry activities
Use hands and fingers to operate computers, office equipment, and communication devices
Occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout office and operational areas
Occasionally handle or move office materials, files, records, and supplies
Travel between meeting locations and company facilities as needed
Work Environment
Primarily office-based environment within a manufacturing facility
Frequent use of computers, SAP, banking portals, and internally developed financial systems
Regular interaction with Finance team members, leadership, banking partners, auditors, and insurance providers
Regular exposure to confidential financial, banking, and business information requiring a high level of discretion
Occasional exposure to manufacturing and operational areas requiring adherence to company safety policies and PPE requirements
May require flexibility in work schedule during month-end closings, audits, or other time-sensitive business requirements
