This position is primarily responsible for overseeing and assuming total management responsibility for the major operations functions including Loan Operations, Transaction Operations, Deposit Operations and Technical Services and Integration, as well as serve in a senior leadership role actively interacting with the C-Suite and other senior leaders.
Ensures that the Loan Operations staff provides superior quality processing work in the areas of loan preparation, booking and loan accounting including ensuring the quality, accuracy and integrity of data is maintained for the security of both the customer and the Bank.
Oversees the direction, coordination, planning and operation of the relevant departments and defines standards within the department to ensure assigned plans, goals, deliverables and deadlines are met.
Participation in corporate driven projects and executive committees representing operations interests. Advising and consulting as needed for critical decisions and recommendations.
Ensures that the Deposit Operations staff provides superior service in the areas of Central Information Systems, Demand Deposit Accounts, Savings, Certificate of Deposit and Individual Retirement Accounts including ensuring the quality, accuracy and integrity of data is maintained for the security of both the customer and the Bank.
Help lead the companys efforts to pursue RPA and process-improvement initiatives within Operations and for the organization as a whole in an effort to drive increased efficiency and effectiveness.
Develops a strategic vision for Loan and Deposit Operations that supports the Bank’s sales teams throughout multiple regions in an ever changing corporate and regulatory environment and manages multiple projects related to systems issues, efficiencies, new technology, mergers and acquisitions.
Develops, implements, monitors and maintains operations systems, processes and policies in support of the Bank’s business objectives and goals, assures audit compliance and procedure quality control and recommends and initiates corrective actions as required.
Develops, implements and manages organizational metrics and SLAs that correspond with the efficient development of personnel while supporting growth initiatives.
Plays a major role in determining the most effective and efficient methodology for the conversion of data mapping, product conversion, system integration, file location and conversion testing across all loan portfolios.
Oversees Operations Groups vendor relationships to ensure compliance with contracts and Bank policies and ensures associated SLA requirements are met.
