JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the oversite of all financial and information technology matters related to the company including financial accounting and reporting, tax compliance and reporting, treasury services management, IT infrastructure and the customer rate setting processes. Responsible for the companys overall business planning, execution of its growth strategy, and for the development and growth of the finance and information technology teams within the company. Direct the financial management, external financial reporting, internal management reporting, risk management, internal control, and treasury activities of the organization. Oversee the design, implementation, and oversight of the information systems functions of the company. Provide direction for all financial matters related to regulatory requirements including ongoing reporting, customer rate setting processes and rate structure strategies. Direct the preparation of annual financial budgets and forecasts. Manage the overall direction of the companys technology activities through strategic planning and evaluation. Define project requirements by assessing IT infrastructure size and propose new and emerging technologies to support the necessary changes required to reach the companys business goals, needs, and objectives. Oversee the development of IT systems architecture business plans, strategic direction, and standards for procedures and policies. Work with technology vendors to ensure business requirements are understood and translated to optimal technical solutions for the company. Direct participation in regulatory commission rate filings, including representing the Company in front of external parties. Responsible for due diligence associated with potential investments and significant capital expenditures. Lead the strategic analysis, and supporting structuring, negotiating, and financing for the company. Develop the process and control environment to keep up with the demands of a complex growing business, and evolving regulatory requirements. Manage and develop finance and information technology team staff.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) license, or foreign equivalent, required.
