The Vice President of Investor Relations, Treasury, and Special Projects will report directly to the CFO and will be responsible for the management of the Investor Relations and Treasury activities of the total organization. Ensures that all financial transactions, policies and investment functions support the Company’s goals and objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist Chief Financial Officer in developing an optimal financial structure (debt/equity, type of debt, etc.) for the Company.
Maintain good relations with Company’s investors, prospective investors, banks, and lenders that provide financing to GNC and subsidiaries. Provide proof of compliance of financing terms as required.
Aligns treasury policy and strategy with organizational goals and objectives
Develop strategies that ensure liquid funds are available for current capital needs and develops long-term cash management or investment plans that both preserve capital and support strategic goals.
Develops policies that manage organizational debt and credit levels, interest rate or currency risk, or banking relationships.
Ensures that all treasury-related activities comply with applicable regulatory requirements.
Oversees banking activities and generates strategies and solutions for efficient cash management.
Cultivate and maintain relationship with rating agencies and investment banking analyst communities.
Invest excess cash to minimize risk, maximize yield and match maturity with cash needs.
Negotiate and execute debt and equity financings, as needed.
Develop investor relations materials for the CEO and CFO.
Hire, develop and train staff to maintain operations.
Develop and maintain useful cash flow and financial forecasts to aid in planning and decision making. Provide senior management with analyses (graphics, written and verbal) of financial data to aid in presentations.
Develop and enforce cash policies and procedures for GNC and subsidiaries.
